Morson is looking for Mechanical Process Technicians to support mechanical production activities across a diverse range of platforms, including surface ships, submarines, and factory-based operations on site at Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background and a passion for engineering.

Key responsibilities

Assist in the mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repair of components and systems on naval vessels and within factory settings. Carry out inspections, fault diagnosis, and basic testing of mechanical systems. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

Experience in mechanical fitting, maintenance or production support. Familiarity with working on marine platforms (surface ships or submarines) or in industrial, manufacturing or maintenance environments. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation. Strong understanding of health & safety practices in high-risk environments. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a mechanical or related discipline.

6 months contract initially
