About the Role
Join our Planned Maintenance team and play a key role in delivering vital mechanical and gas compliance projects across Bristol's social housing portfolio. You'll manage multiple work streams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee contracts for mechanical installations and M&E packages, including:
  • Communal heating systems
  • Gas compliance (including DSEAR assessments)
  • Legionella testing
  • Renewable heating alternatives
  • Drive delivery of planned maintenance programmes to meet ambitious standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, CDM regulations, and Bristol City Council policies.
  • Manage budgets, procurement processes, and contractor relationships.
  • Prepare specifications, reports, and contract documentation.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in M&E maintenance, ideally within social housing.
  • Strong project management and contract administration skills.
  • Recognised engineering qualification (Degree/HNC) or equivalent experience in Gas Safety/building services.
  • Knowledge of commercial gas systems and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to innovate and improve service delivery.
