As a Project Engineer, you will be part of a regional unit within a global engineering organisation, delivering robust solutions for Drilling and Pressure Control Equipment. Your focus will be on managing the lifecycle of engineering projects from proposal through to execution, ensuring quality, cost, and timeline targets are met. This roles requires the occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare cost and duration estimates and issue project proposals Liaise with customers to ensure alignment with project requirements Develop detailed project plans and communicate them effectively Track project milestones and report progress to management Interface with internal NOV engineering disciplines Represent NOV engineering in customer interactions Generate and evaluate product specifications and designs Ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective Identify technical problems and develop innovative solutions Prepare procedures including testing and installation documentation Participate in factory acceptance and test programs Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards Conduct after-action reviews for continuous improvement Supervise or perform engineering responsibilities as needed Conduct onsite surveys and travel as required Perform other tasks as assigned, adhering to HSE policies

Qualifications & Skills



Time served, degree advantageous Knowledge of drilling industry equipment and rig design (preferred) Experience in project setup, execution, and technical reporting Familiarity with industry standards (API, DNV, ABS, NORSOK) Understanding of mechanical assemblies, schematics, and technical documentation Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and P&IDs Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
