Role Overview

We are looking for a

mechanically biased Project Engineer

to join our expanding delivery team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing mechanical installations from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical services on site. Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery. Review technical drawings and specifications, identifying and resolving issues. Support procurement and manage material deliveries in line with project schedules. Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations. Provide technical support to site teams and attend project meetings. Assist with commissioning and handover documentation.

Requirements

Proven experience in mechanical building services engineering, ideally within residential new build projects. Commercial project experience is advantageous. HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services. Strong understanding of mechanical systems including heating, ventilation, and domestic services. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks effectively.
