Mecsol are based in Bristol, operating a wide range of electrical services covering the commercial/heavy industrial sectors. Established for over 30 years working with a wide range of clients such as Shell Energy, Puma Energy and Bouygues.

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at our Bristol office. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of mechanical engineering projects across the UK, working with a collaborative and forward-thinking team. You will manage mechanical installations from planning through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from inception to handover. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines. Conduct site visits and oversee on-site activities to ensure compliance with health & safety standards. Prepare project documentation including risk assessments, progress reports, and handover packs. Promote continuous improvement and innovation in project execution.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager in construction, building services, hazardous and industrial sectors. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, piping, and mechanical systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Project Management (HNC/HND/Degree), or qualified by experience. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications (preferred). Hands on experience in Simpro is an added advantage but not a must
