Key Responsibilities:
Designing and developing mechanical systems and components to meet project specifications
Conducting feasibility studies, design reviews and risk assessments
Creating and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and project documentation
Supervising the installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and construction personnel
Staying up to date with industry developments and incorporating new technologies into designs
Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards and regulations
Requirements:
Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
In-depth knowledge of mechanical design, development, and testing processes
Proficient in using relevant software, such as CAD and simulation tools
Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
