We are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager who has proven experience overseeing and coordinating projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring project delivery is on time and within budget, while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of project management principles within industrial or commercial environments.

This role is 41.5 hours per week; Monday - Friday; 08:00 - 17:00.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Attend project start up meetings, familiarise with all details and specifications of the project.
Lead project planning, execution, and delivery of Mechanical Projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
Development and management of detailed project schedules, coordinating all phases of the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder collaboration and client relationship management.
Risk assessment and proactive issue resolution.
Procurement and supplier/subcontractor management.
Health, safety, and regulatory compliance across project sites.
Reporting on project status, budgets, and resource utilization for senior management.
Electrical installation, maintenance, and refurbishment work.
Technical drawing interpretation and accurate implementation.
Fault diagnosis and repair of electrical systems.
Quality control across multiple projects.
Mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
Proven experience in a Mechanical Project Manager role within a construction or industrial environment.
Solid understanding of HVAC, pipework, and plant room systems.
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
In-depth knowledge of plumbing, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Ability to anticipate potential issues and implement strategic solutions promptly.
Commitment to safety and quality.
Ability to work autonomously and deliver under pressure.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Valid driving licence.
