Job Title: Mechanical Service Engineer

Location:

West Midlands (covering client sites across the UK and Ireland)

Salary:

From 45,760 (22.50 per hour), OTE 55K+ (including paid overtime)

Role Overview:

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Service Engineer to join their team, specialising in centrifugal systems, industrial pumps, and dewatering services across various sectors, including Water Utilities, Food & Drink, Chemicals, Brewing, and Pharmaceuticals. This is a field-based role where you will provide service, maintenance, and repair for industrial machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Service and repair of industrial pumps, decanter centrifuges, and other rotating machinery. Travel to client sites across the UK and Ireland, with overnight stays averaging one night per week. Conduct occasional installations and commissioning of machinery at client sites.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience in servicing heavy rotating equipment, pumps, or similar industrial machinery. Background in any industrial field (experience in water or power generation is advantageous). Familiarity with measuring instruments. Prior experience working with centrifuges is a plus.

Additional Details:

The role offers flexibility in working hours, but some flexibility is required to meet client needs. A full, clean driving license is essential as you will be provided with a company van for travel.
