to join our team at

Rocksavage Power Station

.This is a new key role created to strengthen our technical capability andsupport long term performance of our CCGT.


Youll work closely with our Engineering Manager to focus onthe performance of our

gas turbines, steam turbine, and critical rotatingplant machinery

. Youll play an instrumental part in shaping and deliveringour shaftline strategy, which forms a core part of our wider engineeringmaintenance strategy.

What youll be doing




A summary of the key responsibilities:


Support the Engineering Manager in maintainingtechnical and safety competencies across our systems Lead the planning, coordination, and supervisionof outages, inspections, and reliability issues in line with the siteengineering strategy Actively participate in company/site HSEinitiatives, including the HSE forum activities and procedure reviews Provide supervision of contractors and hands onsupport as required Support the Maintenance & ReliabilityManager by utilising the MMS to maintain, service, repair, record history accuratelyto manage spares for all activities Ensure compliance with plant and softwaremodification procedures and company ISIs and SSIs Contribute to the development and delivery ofengineering projects, making sure they meet business plan requirements andensuring the quality control of all work is in line with

QualityManagement System Support the Engineering Manager and MechanicalEngineer during any forced outages to ensuring rapid mobilisation of thenecessary resources and equipment Ensure WOCs/RAMs produced are accurate and havesign off before delivering to the Safety Controller for Safety Documentproduction Work with procurement to ensure value for moneywhen managing designated contracts, purchasing parts or carrying out projects Contribute to the delivery of daily activitiesin line with plant priorities, supporting other areas of the business as needsarise

Education/Experience



Ideally, Degree in Mechanical Engineering orrelated discipline however HNC/HND with sufficient experience also considered A minimum of 10 years Power Plant O&Mexperience which includes extensive experience of Turbine, Generators androtating plant is required Knowledge of power plant operations andmaintenance associated with gas/ steam turbines, permit for work systems,reading of technical drawings, computers, computer applications and computeraided Maintenance Management applications. Experience with pressure/vacuumsystems, Rotating Equipment (pumps, turbines, compressors, etc) andcirculating/cooling water systems and equipment.
