Mechanical Shift Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Multiskilled engineer to work within a secure site of Mitie on a 4 on 4 off day/night 12-hour shift rota.
The job concerns carrying out Safety checks, reactive works, planned maintenance servicing and general repairs. You must be able to work to high levels of health and safety, understand and be able to work to building statutory requirements and ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme. You should be IT literate for record keeping, have good customer service skills, be physically able to carry out the fuller duties detailed in the job description.
The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities maintenance within the construction sector, data hall industry, critical engineering or similar. They would also be qualified to either Level 2/3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 17th or 18th edition for electrically biased engineers or City & Guilds craft certificate/ONC etc. , recognised craft apprenticeship for mechanical/plumbing biased engineers.
Preferable:
Comprehensive understanding of Building Services. C&G 2391 or equivalent desirable Full in depth, intrusive security checks to be completed for successful candidate .#EngGen
