About the role:
Astute\'s Power team is partnering with a leading EPC company within the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a Mechanical Site Supervisor for its Leedssite.

The Mechanical Site Supervisor role comes with a salary of \xc2\xa360,000 plus a benefits package which includes a bonus of up to 8.5%

Responsibilities and duties:
As Mechanical Site Supervisor you will:

• Carry out Mechanical works on site, this will include working on Pressure parts.
• Supervise subcontractors on site, ensure their work is completed to the required standard and in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure works within area of responsibility are executed in accordance with the contract, and conform with project time and budget requirements
• Demonstrate leadership regarding HSEQ on site, actively encourages and leads others to comply with project HSEQ requirements
• Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements are reviewed and subsequent works are carried out in accordance to them.
• Keep the Site Manager informed of activities on site and progress change requests (technical, time and costs).
• Deliver \'Lessons Learned\' to benefit future projects

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

• A Mechanical Engineering qualification such as HNC/HND or Degree
• SSSTS / SCS or similar valid Safety Contractors Certificate
• Experience supervising construction of a large industrial plant
• Knowledge of Pressure Parts and ATEX directive
• Relevant HSEQ knowledge relevant to industrial construction sites

Personal skills:
The Electrical Site Supervisor role would suit someone who is:

• Confident using Microsoft suite
• Can work well alone or as part of a team
• Self-Motivated
