What Will You Do?

Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation teams on-site across multiple projects. Carry out desk top surveys on mechanical installations to ensure high quality & compliance standards Ensure installations comply with mechanical drawings, schematics, and relevant industry regulations. Monitor daily work progress and ensure high standards of workmanship. Act as a point of contact between site operatives, subcontractors & project managers. Conduct quality checks, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and renewable systems. Maintain site health & safety standards, including toolbox talks and risk assessments. Assist in planning project timelines and resource allocation. Maintain site records, daily logs, and project documentation.

What Are We Looking For?

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, or Heating & Ventilation. Proven experience supervising mechanical or renewable energy installations. SMSTS or SSSTS certification (or willingness to obtain). Valid CSCS card Excellent understanding of health & safety standards and compliance. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications. Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills. Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

Experience working with MCS-accredited installations. Certification in heat pump or solar PV installation (e.g., BPEC or NICEIC). First Aid at Work qualification. Experience with retrofit and domestic energy efficiency schemes (e.g., ECO4, PAS 2035).
