We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Prospect Park Hospital, responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance services in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Your main duties will include carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and diagnosing and repairing faults across the site. You'll also act as a liaison when specialist works are carried out on various plant, equipment, or systems.
While your primary focus will be maintenance, there may be times when you'll support new installation or modification work. This could involve installing building services such as pipework, valves, and other associated plant or equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain building fabric and services, including HVAC, plumbing, and controls
Carry out maintenance on equipment such as air handling, heating, and laundry machines
Support new installations or modifications as needed
Install building services like pipework, valves, and plant equipment
Understand and coordinate with other trades for flexible working
Perform additional tasks as required by management
Read and understand mechanical installation plans and drawings
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Significant experience in mechanical building services maintenance, including fault finding and installation
Experience in reactive and PPM maintenance within commercial properties
Familiar with strict Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments
Completed recognised CITB or EITB apprenticeship
At least 2 years of relevant, flexible, and versatile experience
Holds City & Guilds Course 205 - Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Part II
