We are recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join our Day Support Team. In this role, you will be a vital part of improving operational efficiency on our production lines. What You Will Do
As a Mechanical Technician, you will:
Deliver preventive and predictive maintenance activities aligned with KPIs and standards.
Troubleshoot technical issues using DDS methodology and root-cause analysis.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise performance and reduce downtime.
Coach operators and colleagues on technical issues and maintenance tools such as SAP-PM and SOPs.
Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, working towards zero breakdowns and zero stops.
Contribute to cost reduction strategies, including spare parts management.
Who You Are
You will bring:
A recognised HNC qualification.
A passion for monitoring machine performance and driving maintenance improvements.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and suppliers.
The ability to work efficiently under pressure, make clear decisions, and plan work to tight timelines.
A proactive attitude and technical aptitude to learn and develop further in the role.
