you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our production lines within our Production team. Reporting directly in the Production Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of technical and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
This is a
3-month fixed-term contract (FTC)
This role is onsite based work on the following shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 10pm - 6:30am
For this opportunity, we are offering between 15.38 - 16.41 per hour, depending on experience. This shift comes with 4000 annual allowance.
In more detail your role will include:
Line set up:
Prepare and set up production lines for operation,ensuring all equipment is correctly installed and ready for operation.
Setting adjustments
: Make necessary adjustments to equipment settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency
Filling checks and adjustments
: Perform routine checks and adjustments on filling machines to ensure accurate product filling.
Weigh scale tolerances and checks:
Regularly check and calibrate weigh scales to ensure compliance with specified tolerances and standards.
Removal of parts:
Disassemble parts to prepare for cleaning, as required.
Reassembly of parts:
Reassemble cleaned parts, ensuring they are correctly fitted and fully functional.
Video jet ink setup:
Set up video jet ink printing equipment for product labelling.
Daily/Visual PPM's:
Conduct daily and visual maintenance checks to identify and address potential issues.
Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain production room equipment not included in PPM schedule (i.e chairs, trolleys, cabinets, and barriers).
Pump set up and purging
: Set up and purge pumps to ensure they are ready for
production use.
Line support:
Assisting the effective and efficient running of all production lines where required, providing technical support and troubleshooting
We would love to hear from you if you have:
Mechanical background.
Experience of working within a GMP production/manufacturing environment.
Worked in a role that involved compliance and regulation checks to meet the standards.
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams.
