Mechanical Technician
Job Description
We are one of the UK's Leading manufacturers of packaging machinery to the food industry and are currently recruiting a skilled or semi skilled Bench Fitter/Assembly Technician to join our small assembly shop.
Based from our Scunthorpe workshops
The position combines a varied and interesting job within a safe, clean and friendly working environment.
The successful candidate will have good practical skills and experience with the use of hand tools and be generally good with their hands and would ideally have mechanical assembly/maintenance experience.
Duties
General assembly of mechanical components
Light mechanical engineering work
Bench fitting
Drilling, tapping and filing etc
Working to engineering drawings
Working with Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Plastics
This is a permanent position with full training provided for this role within our team.
Full-time
Hours of work are:-
Monday to Thursday - 7.30am to 4.45pm
Friday -
HALF DAY
Holidays are 28 days increasing to 33 days (inc bank holidays) In addition Friday holidays count as half days to further boost holiday entitlement.
No formal qualifications required but relevant experience is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 13.20 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
