Responsibilities

Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on mechanical equipment to ensure functionality and safety. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner. Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve system designs and enhance operational efficiency. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working in various environments. Assist in the installation of new equipment as required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role is preferred. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and machinery. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively. A relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is essential. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a mechanical environment is desirable.
