About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Mechanical Wastewater Assembly Engineer with assembly skills to join the Haigh team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our wastewater operations, ensuring all internal and external delivery targets are met on time and to a high standard.

Duties

Supporting the Wastewater assembly team to build, fit and assemble as required to plan. The role will also require painting in our new spray facility for 20% of the working week.

Requirements

Painting experience would be beneficial, but not a necessity as training will be given. Good assembly skills, working with tools and other mechanical equipment. Carry out general maintenance duties (good housekeeping). You will liaise with relevant personnel regarding modifications, concessions and 'value engineering' suggestions. The use of computer systems to provide updates to the manufacturing programme. Maintain high-quality standards and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.

Other General Duties

To assist with other production duties as required, e.g. assembly or fabrication. To be aware of Health and Safety matters relative to all equipment being used.
