Mechanical/Hydraulic Technician - Full Time, Permanent

ITC Hydraulic Services Ltd have an opportunity for a Mechanical/Hydraulic Technician on a full-time basis to join their team, based at Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire. We are looking for someone who is a confident and well organised individual who can manage a busy workload and are able to work on their own and within a team.

Candidates should have a mechanical background with at least 5 years' experience to assist with the continued growth of the company. Good reporting and academic skills are also required.

Successful candidates MUST possess the following essential skills:

Hold a relevant qualification and/or be Time Served in a similar role.

Be Hydraulically and Mechanically minded.

Have experience with Pipefitting and hose manufacturing.

Have experience with pump and motor rebuilds.

Have the ability to read and understand Hydraulic and Mechanical drawings.

Have the ability to compile accurate service reports to a high standard.

Have good communication skills.

Have an excellent understanding of health and safety.

Have good organisational skills.

Have trouble shooting skills.

Have a positive attitude and cheerful disposition.

Be a good team player.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

Deliver the highest quality of repair, on time and to budget, and in accordance with ITC work packs and customer specific requirements.

Ensuring all workshop equipment is suitably maintained and kept up to standard.

Able to work from home/offshore from time to time at short notice.

Ensuring all workshop/job documentation is completed to a high standard

Ensure that the company's interest and image are projected at all times through good practice and safe working.

Participation in all Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE) initiatives such as prevention of non-conformities in the form of accidents, injuries and illness and to actively seek to eliminate any unsafe work practices and conditions.

Employment Details/Benefits:

This role will require you to work 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Thursday and
7.30am - 3.00pm on a Friday.

In return you will receive a salary between 37,500.00 and 44,500.00 per annum, based on relevant experience. Along with 33 days pro-rata annual leave, private health insurance, Death in Service and a company pension.
