James Waste Management is looking for an experienced Workshop mechanic/engineer to join our workshop team. This is a workshop-based role, this role is primarily reactive to form a strong service backup against breakdowns of various mobile and fixed plant during nightshift operations.
The Role
Repairing mobile plant including:
Forklift trucks,
Wheeled loaders
360's grabs
Repairs to fixed plant including conveyor belts and shakers etc.
Welding experience is useful but not essential. This is not a fabrication role.
Pay & Hours
17.10 - 19.20 per hour (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday, 7.00pm - 5:00am, 9 hours with 2 30-minute unpaid breaks.
20 days holidays plus 8 statutory bank holidays

About You
Experienced in automotive, plant, HGV, forklift, or similar mechanical engineering.
Confident carrying out servicing, repairs, and inspections
Welding experience advantageous but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
