Mechannical Machinist
Job Description
This position is to join John Fowler (Leeds)Ltd Engineering in the Lake District
We are recruiting additional team members to work alongside us repairing and building steam engines and other vintage vehicles. This is a niche opportunity to work with standard gauge and diesel locos. We also work on narrow gauge, road, marine and industrial engines
We are looking for Machinists with duties covering ;
- milling
- turning
- boring
- drilling
- CNC experience or willingness to learn essential
- 4 axis CNC machining experience desirable
- must be capable of reading drawings both metric and Imperial
Previous experience in the jobs listed above and a willingness to learn is essential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 29,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
