We now have an exciting opportunity for a Media Editor and Content Creator to join our Media Department and assist in the creation of marketing assets, video content, podcast content and miniature photography.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a skilled Media Editor and Content Creator to deliver professional, polished photo, video and audio content for Siege Studios' platforms and clients. You will edit YouTube videos, Shorts, Reels, podcasts, client photo media and promotional materials while maintaining consistent quality, pacing and branding.
You will work within the Media Department to bring the creative world of miniature painting to life through exceptional video and photo production across social media platforms, blogs, websites and other outlets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Edit long and short form video content for YouTube and social media
Edit and mix podcast episodes, ensuring clean audio and professional delivery
Create thumbnails, short clips and highlight reels for multiple platforms
Maintain a consistent visual style and quality across all content
Work collaboratively on shoot planning, storyboarding and scheduling
Archive and manage digital assets efficiently
Undertake other ad hoc office duties as required
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Practical knowledge of miniature painting
Expertise in DaVinci Resolve
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Canva and Adobe Lightroom
Experience with photo colour grading
Experience using Canon and Sony cameras
Strong sense of storytelling, pacing and visual flow
Organised workflow and asset management skills
PREFERRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE:
Motion graphics and After Effects knowledge
Miniature photography experience
Comfortable being on camera at events or in the studio
Experience with audio production
Familiarity with hobby related media content or miniature painting and tabletop gaming culture
