About the Role

Are you looking to kickstart your career in media and marketing? Golley Slater is offering a six-month internship for a Media Executive Intern to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting both traditional and digital media campaigns for a range of clients, including high-profile public sector and commercial brands.

Key Responsibilities

Support the media team in delivering campaigns across multiple channels. Assist Account Managers and Media Planners with campaign briefs, planning, and execution. Help monitor campaign performance and contribute to evaluation reports. Liaise with clients and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and administration. Participate in brainstorming sessions and new business pitches. Contribute to team administration, including meeting organisation and reporting. Quality check creative materials and suggest improvements. Stay up to date with industry trends and client challenges.

A committed team player with a keen interest in media and marketing. Enthusiastic, organised, and eager to learn new skills. Strong communication and writing abilities. Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills. Confident with numbers and proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience in a marketing or office administration role (1-2 years) is an advantage, but not essential. Any agency or client-side marketing experience is a plus.
