The GNTB's London-based foreign representative office for the UK & Ireland is seeking to appoint a

Media & Public Relations Manager (f/m(d) - parttime 50%

Starting: 1 August 2025 | Location: London

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a market-specific media and PR strategy and annual action plan Manage and deliver all media and public relations activities Create targeted communication materials, including messaging platforms, press releases, newsletters, and interview briefings Proactively place GNTB campaigns in UK and Irish media and respond to media and influencer enquiries Maintain and grow a strong network of media contacts and multipliers Organise and deliver press events, media briefings, press trips and editorial visits Respond to incoming press enquiries Manage partner relationships and market GNTB services to generate income Budget planning and responsibility, monitoring and evaluating all media and PR activities Carry out a range of administrative duties

Your Profile:

Relevant university degree (e.g. Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, Tourism, Social Sciences) Professional experience in media and PR Knowledge of the UK and/or Irish media landscape desirable High level of digital literacy Strong communication and networking skills, fluent in both English and German Conceptual planning strength, negotiation skills, intercultural competence, diplomatic manner and persuasive communication skills Self-motivated and flexible, with excellent teamwork skills Knowledge of the UK tourism industry is an advantage Enthusiasm for promoting Germany as a travel destination
