Brief Description

This is an exciting time to join our team of Occupational Health professionals, as we move to an inhouse service model, delivered flexibly, out of our 22 Occupational Health locations nationwide. It\'s a great time to join us as we begin our journey to shape the new service for our organisation and the rail industry.

We\'re looking for people who are customer focussed, highly motivated, and committed to deliver our new In-House Occupational Health for our 46,000 colleagues, for both clinical and operational roles. We\'re creating a railway \'Fit for the Future\' so we need a workforce \'Fit for the future\' and you can play a key part in creating a sustainable service for the future.

We\'ve a great role to support the delivery of our In-House service in our regional centres as a Medical Coordinator. As the first point of contact for colleagues in the region you\'ll need to provide excellent customer service in a friendly and professional way.

Managing the day-to day running of the OH centre you will be meeting and greeting colleagues, organising diaries for clinical appointments, making sure there is the relevant medical equipment and stationery. All this and more to support the effective and efficient delivery of occupational health services for your centre and make sure we are compliant with the relevant operational processes.

About the role (External)

Key Accountabilities

\xc2\xb7 Produce diary management for the effective and efficient delivery of occupational health services at regional locations, to support compliance with the relevant operational processes.

\xc2\xb7 Monitor the appointment and recall list for the various clinical services, and schedule appointments as required.

\xc2\xb7 Manage the day-to-day running of the regional location, including provision of appropriate medical equipment and stationery, and opening and closing of the clinic.

\xc2\xb7 Provide administrative support to the regional clinic including but not limited to; welcoming employees, providing relevant paperwork to employees, and act as chaperone to the employee, if required.

\xc2\xb7 Support record keeping in the clinic, including scanning of documents into the IT platform and monitoring and obtaining Further Medical Evidence (FME) responses.

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with finance regarding GP or specialist invoices to comply with Network Rail financial processes.

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with lead medical co-ordinator on resolving queries, issues, and complaints so that they are addressed promptly and satisfactorily.

\xc2\xb7 Completion of additional administrative duties as required by service delivery manager or clinical colleagues to meet service requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain confidentiality in line with occupational health governance framework to meet data protection requirements.

What we need from you

\xc2\xb7 Excellent knowledge of diary management principles and systems

\xc2\xb7 Previous successful experience in prioritising workloads and delivering to deadlines

\xc2\xb7 Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills

\xc2\xb7 Attention to detail

\xc2\xb7 Previous successful experience of working in a team and engaging with virtual team members

\xc2\xb7 Able to demonstrate good general IT skills

\xc2\xb7 Understanding of confidentiality and GDPR compliance
