The Medical Device Analyst post is responsible for managing, analysing, and optimising medical device usage, maintenance, and compliance within the Whittington NHS Health Trust. The role ensures that medical equipment is properly maintained, cost-effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements.Main duties of the jobDevice Management & Analysiso Maintain an up-to-date inventory of medical devices.o Analyse equipment performance, utilization, and lifecycle data.o Identify trends in device failures and recommend improvements.2. Maintenance & Compliance Oversighto Monitor planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.o Ensure compliance with NHS, CQC, MHRA, and OEM maintenance requirements.o Work with internal teams and external vendors to resolve maintenance issues.3. Contract & Vendor Managemento Support procurement and management of OEM and third-party service contracts.o Track service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).o Assist in negotiations for cost-effective maintenance solutions.4. Technical & Financial Reportingo Provide data-driven reports on device reliability, downtime, and costs.o Support with the Trusts RFID asset tracking systemo Assist in budgeting and forecasting for medical device expenditures.o Support capital planning for equipment replacement and upgrades.5.
