Working 30 hours per week alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for organising and coordinating First Tier Tribunals Section Renewal and Hospital Manager Appeal meetings for service users, this will see you prepare and arrange paperwork to support the meetings.



As a Mental Health Act Administrator, you will process hearings for Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Managers Reviews, and will be responsible for notifying all parties, obtaining reports, negotiate hearing dates and venue, and providing and processing documentation in line with MHA Code of Practice an procedures.

As a Medical Health Act Administrator you will be:

Attending Managers Review Hearings in the capacity of the MHA Administrator/Clerk and ensure the review satisfies the fundamental legal requirements of fairness reasonableness and lawfulness Following up MHA action points included in the Care Quality Commission reports submitted following visits to clinical areas Liaising with the consultants and nursing team to update service users information regarding renewal of sections and consent to treatments Providing information to service users about their access to Independent Mental Heal Advocacy Services (IMHA)

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Confidence to liaise and give advice to a wide range of people from different profession Experience within a similar role Knowledge of the relevant legislation and current case law relating to the Act

Middlewood Clinic provide care and treatment for men and women who have an eating disorder including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and atypical eating disorders. Our approach will be to restore a healthy body weight and address psychological problems during treatment.



The Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) at Middlewood Clinic will be made up of the Registered Manager, Consultant Psychiatrist, Nurses, Healthcare Workers, Psychologist, Dietician, Occupational Therapist and Social Worker.



The hospital will have 12 comfortable ensuite bedrooms and a variety of communal and recreational spaces including lounge areas, a light and airy dining room, activities room, visitors room, therapy rooms, therapy kitchen area and a lovely cottage style garden.
