Electronic transfer of patient details and requests via bar-code scanning into the Pathology IT system. Manual inputting of patient details and test requests into the laboratory computer system. Scanning requested forms into the laboratory information system database (if used). Labelling and preparing patients blood, urine, and other fluids for analysis utilising aseptic techniques.



Sample centrifugation, separation of serum from red cells and pipetting serum aliquots for analysis ensuring that the minimum volume is available for the range of investigations requested Please note that this advertised position, which is part of occupation code 3111 does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa. The Trust would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
