About the Role




As

Medical Manager

, you will provide strategic and tactical medical leadership for a designated therapy area or product. This is a

9-month fixed-term contract

to cover maternity leave, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to Ipsen's mission while gaining exposure to cross-functional collaboration and high-impact medical affairs initiatives.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and implement UK medical strategies aligned with brand objectives and budget. Lead data generation plans, including clinical study assessments and investigator-sponsored trials. Act as Ipsen's clinical expert with external stakeholders, including HCPs and professional associations. Support scientific exchange, insights generation, and KOL engagement. Collaborate with commercial, market access, and brand teams to ensure integrated planning. Ensure compliance with ABPI Code of Practice and Ipsen SOPs. Contribute to the development of non-promotional materials and internal training.

What You'll Bring



Life Sciences degree (ideally Physician or Pharmacist); higher degree preferred (MSc, MBA, PhD, MD, PharmD). Experience in medical affairs, ideally within Oncology. Experience as a medical signatory or equivalent knowledge of the UK ABPI Code. Strong scientific communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge of clinical trial design, data analysis, and real-world evidence generation. Excellent computer literacy and understanding of compliance regulations.
