Medical PA / Clinic Coordinator
to support our busy
Ophthalmology clinic
. Working closely with our Consultant, Mr Fadi Kherdaji, and the wider clinical team, you'll be the key administrative point of contact, ensuring the smooth running of daily clinics and an excellent experience for our patients.

About Us
Fadi Kherdaji is a leading eye surgeon in the field corneal and refractive surgery offering a full range surgical services, from cataract and lens replacement to laser eye surgery and therapeutic corneal surgery. Fadi works in various clinics between Cheltenham, Gloucester and London, Knightsbridge.
Aisling is a specialist Optometrist who has worked alongside Fadi for over a decade.
We are committed to delivering expert, patient-centred care using state-of-the-art equipment in a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive PA support to Fadi, including diary and clinic management
Coordinate patient appointments, theatre bookings, investigations and follow-ups
Act as the first point of contact for patient queries by phone and email. This needs to be done in a timely manner
Prepare clinic documentation including patient notes, referral letters, GP/Optometrist correspondence, surgical checklists and surgical consent forms
Ensure accurate data entry into electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Liaise with optometrists, GPs, private hospitals, and insurance companies
Manage administrative tasks related to procedures and surgeries
Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with GDPR and clinical governance standards
Requirements
Previous experience in a medical PA, secretary, or clinic coordinator role (Ophthalmology experience highly desirable but not mandatory)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and empathetic manner
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
Confident using medical language and software systems desirable. Training will be provided if not
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
