As a Practice Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth operation of our frontline practice. Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of practice operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Oversee fiscal management, including pay roll, monitoring of income streams financial reporting, and resource allocation to optimize practice performance.
Supervise staff across various departments, providing guidance and support to enhance team productivity and morale.
Implement and maintain electronic medical record (EMR) systems and electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient documentation.
Ensure adherence to CQC regulations while managing patient records and sensitive information.
Collaborate with local healthcare providers, PCN management to improve patient care processes and outcomes through effective utilization management.
Manage human resources functions such as recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
Foster relationships with external stakeholders including insurance providers, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
Experience
Proven experience in medical office management or practice management within a healthcare setting is essential.
Strong background in fiscal management with demonstrated skills in budgeting and financial oversight.
Experience supervising teams in a medical or dental office environment is highly desirable.
Familiarity with various EMR/EHR systems such as System one, CQRS and
Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and compliance standards including JCAHO guidelines is crucial.
Experience in acute care or critical care settings is a plus.
