Essential:
MUST be able to cover the following shifts Monday - Friday and provide holiday/sickness cover
Shift Pattern 7.45am - 11.45am + 2.30pm-6.30pm
We will not be in a position to offer to anyone who cannot cover these shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival
- Dealing with patients face to face and over the telephone.
- Dealing with requests for appointments and home visits, ensuring patients are care navigated to the most appropriate healthcare professional.
- Answering emails and processing internal tasks.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Collect and update patient information in the electronic medical records system
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and scanning documents
- Data input into medical records held on Practice database
- Supporting clinical staff to ensure the smooth running of the surgery
- Hours of work Monday - Friday between hours of 7.45am and 6.30pm.
- 20 hours per week
Experience:
- Previous experience of working within a public facing role essential
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers and printers
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
