William Street Surgery is looking for one full time motivated candidate to join our wonderful friendly reception team for 36 hours per week. Job share could be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and scanning documents
- Follow office policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
