Duties
Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, including collecting necessary information and documentation.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff member.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations.
Assist with billing and insurance verification processes as required.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient needs and appointments.
Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining a tidy reception area.
Qualifications
Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred, ideally within a healthcare setting.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and colleagues.
Proficient in using office equipment and software applications relevant to medical reception duties.
