We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. Duties
Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
Support GPs and the wider clinical team to manage online consultations.
Maintain a clean and organised reception area.
Qualifications
Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
Administrative experience is highly desirable, demonstrating proficiency in managing office tasks.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Proficient in using computer systems and medical software applications.
