Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming patient appointments.
Answer phone calls promptly and address patient inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations.
Process patient registrations and verify insurance information as needed.
Organise office supplies and manage inventory to ensure a well-functioning reception area.
Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate efficient patient flow within the practice.
Requirements
Must have previous experience of using a GP Clinical System in a GP Surgery
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and colleagues.
Proficiency in using office equipment and software applications relevant to medical reception duties.
Ability to maintain a calm demeanour in a fast-paced environment while providing compassionate care to patients.
