Overview


We are seeking a professional and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and have a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment within our medical practice.

The job has two parts to it

80% Medical Receptionist duties

: welcoming patients, managing appointments, and supporting clinical staff.

20% Social Media support

: assisting with posting, scheduling, and promoting clinic updates across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn).
This role is

in-person only

at our Chelsea clinic. As we are a small but growing team, teamwork, flexibility, and a proactive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities



Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process. Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently. Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times. Process patient registrations and collect necessary information for billing purposes. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations within the practice. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. Uphold cleanliness and organisation of the reception area to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Social Media Support (20%)



Assist in creating, scheduling, and posting social media content (training will be provided if needed). Engage with followers and respond to basic online enquiries/messages. Work with management on campaigns for awareness (e.g., Endometriosis Awareness Month, Fibroid Awareness). Use tools like Canva or Instagram Reels/TikTok to prepare simple, engaging posts. Track basic performance metrics (likes, reach, engagement) and provide feedback.

Requirements



Previous office experience is ESSENTIAL, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting. Strong administrative experience with proficiency in using office software and equipment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. A compassionate approach towards patients, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 21,500.00-25,500.00 per year
