We are seeking a dedicated and organised Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility and enhancing patient experience.

Responsibilities



Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures. Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently. Handle incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel as necessary. Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times. Process patient information and insurance details with precision. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. Uphold a clean and welcoming reception area for patients and visitors.

Skills



Previous office experience is essential, preferably within a healthcare setting. Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in using office software and medical management systems. Use of EMIS web experience is essential Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanour. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills to manage time efficiently in a busy environment. A compassionate approach towards patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Work Location: In person
