An exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our multi-skilled team at Fenham hall medical Group has arisen.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in primary care and have experience with EMIS/Systmone.(not essential)
We are looking to recruit someone who is enthusiastic, motivated dynamic and friendly who can work at a fast pace & have the ability to think outside the box to join our team. The post holder will be able to work in very fast paced environment whilst remaining calm.
The post holder should have excellent interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication skills and pay a high attention to detail
Main duties of the job
deal with the general public, helping them submit econsult, booking/cancelling appointments
action repeat prescriptions
greet patients on the front desk
Action repeat prescription requests
Enter patient information on to the computer as required.
Reviewing medical records and producing an accurate summary of the patient's medical history.
Read Coding the information into the practice clinical system
Extraction of necessary data from clinical correspondence and input into electronic patient Record.
Scanning of letters and relevant correspondence into patient's notes.
Summarising of patient's notes when requested.

Fenham Hall Medical Group is a busy GP Practice with 9 Doctors, Paramedics, Pharmacists, Practice nurses & Health care Assistants. The Clinical staff are supported by the Practice Manager, Assistant Practice Manager & 10 Administrative staff.
Our extended team consist of Mental health workers, social prescribers, physiotherapy, counsellor & dietitian.
we are a teaching practice and host GP Registrars, Foundation level 2 Doctors & medical students.
our current patient list size is 10,800 the surgery is on a local bus route with parking.
we use EMIS clinical system, our last CQC rating was good.
