We have a vacancy for a Receptionist/administrator. This permanent position will enable you to become an integral and valued part of a friendly, supportive team.

You will be dedicated to providing an excellent, efficient, and empathetic service to our 9,500 patients. Duties will include; being first point of contact for our patients, proactively dealing with enquiries, both verbally and electronically. Arranging appointments, and navigating to relevant services, answering the telephone, liaising with healthcare professionals. Relaying accurate messages, and updating the computerised system. Processing patient registrations, scanning documents electronically and administrative duties. Ensuring strictest confidentiality is upheld at all times.

Previous experience is not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.

30 hours per week

Monday to Friday - rota between 7.50am--6:30pm

Ability to demonstrate that you can provide a polite, empathetic, efficient, and friendly service to patients Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to take and relay accurate messages Sensitivity and discretion when dealing with confidential information Accurate and efficient administration ability Accurate and proficient IT skills Able to accept responsibility and possess the ability to use own initiative and be proactive in dealing with all enquiries. Ability to follow instruction and work to agreed objectives and protocols Ability to work as a proactive, enthusiastic member of the team and liaise with colleagues and outside organisations accordingly. Adaptable and be able to work well under pressure, with a calm and flexible approach to undertaking a wide variety of tasks Be a reliable, helpful, willing team member, able to maintain a positive attitude Ability to be flexible in accordance with the rota requirements and during times of sickness and annual leave

Desirable



Experience of working within the healthcare sector Experience of working within a customer service environment, providing an excellent and efficient service Welsh speaker
