Clinica London Ltd is an established Harley Street private medical clinic specialising in ophthalmology and dermatology for both adults and children. The clinic provides an onsite treatment room for minor surgical and non-surgical procedures, advanced diagnostic and imaging facilities, an IPL and a laser suite. Job Summary



As a Medical Secretary at Clinica London, you will play a key role in supporting our consultants and ensuring the efficient coordination of their ophthalmology and dermatology practices. You will manage patient appointments, correspondence, and provide clinical administrative support. This role requires strong organisational and interpersonal skills, discretion, and a proactive and professional approach to supporting both patients and the clinical team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities



Manage consultants' clinic diaries, including scheduling patient appointments, follow-ups, and procedures. Coordinate with patients, consultants, and hospital departments to ensure all necessary information and documentation are available ahead of appointments. Handle incoming patient queries via phone and email with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality. Prepare and maintain accurate patient records. Process referrals, test requests, and results using the clinic's electronic systems, drawing attention to urgent matters as appropriate. Provide general administrative support to consultants and the wider clinic team to ensure a high standard of patient service. Cover reception when required.

Qualifications and Experience



Previous experience as a Medical Secretary in a private healthcare setting. Experience in Ophthalmology and/or Dermatology is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Outstanding organisational skills with attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office and clinical software systems.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 32,000.00-36,000.00 per year
