We are seeking a skilled Medical Secretary to join our healthcare team in a busy medical practice. Salary will be dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries from patients and medical staff
- Provide an efficient audio, copy typing and word processing service for GP's and healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations
Experience
- Previous experience of touch typing is essential
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is desirable
- Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
