We are seeking an experienced and reliable Medical Secretary to join our team on a temporary basis from February. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to provide essential administrative support in a medical environment.
Key Requirements
Previous experience as a Medical Secretary within a GP surgery
Proficiency in
EMIS and Docman
(essential)
Strong typing and IT skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Professional telephone manner
Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
Key Responsibilities
Providing comprehensive secretarial support to medical professionals
Completing all referrals
Managing appointments and diary coordination
Typing correspondence, reports, and medical documentation
Handling telephone enquiries professionally
Maintaining accurate patient records on EMIS
General administrative duties as required
