The Harley Street ENT Clinic is the longest established specialist medical service in the UK for the exclusive out-patient diagnosis and management of ear, nose and throat disorders. The Clinic opened its doors in 2004 and has seen an exponential growth in activity. Currently, six of the UK's top Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat surgeons are in practice, complemented by eminent Consultant Audiological Physicians and Consultant Allergists. Our medical team includes two Speech and Language therapists, four Audiological Scientists and three Specialist ENT Practice Nurses, co-ordinated by a highly experienced Clinical Services Manager. They are supported by a well-trained and extremely capable administrative team. The Senior Leadership Team includes a Director of Operations assisted by a Quality & Compliance Director, a Finance Manager and an Office Manager.



The Harley Street ENT Clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Personal Assistant to join their administrative team.

Role Purpose



Reporting to the Office Manager, the post-holder will join the current administrative team that provides high quality and wide-ranging secretarial and organisational support services.

Key Responsibilities



Administrative:


Produce patient correspondence, reports and letters using Microsoft Office Suite and Semble clinical software. Create, manage and update documents and electronic filing systems for the medical team. Printing, photocopying, scanning and filing of paper documents following all necessary information governance principles. Ensure email communication is effective and discreet and that appointment bookings are made via the telephone and email in a prompt and professional manner. Update and maintain consultants' and therapists' holiday and leave records.

Organisational:



Handle incoming and outgoing calls, and direct as appropriate along with day to day diary management. Ensure patient bookings and referrals are accurate and on time. Ensure that all invoicing and billing is completed promptly and accurately at all times.

Conduct:



Employees are ambassadors for the Clinic, each responsible for promoting, maintaining and upholding the reputation of The Harley Street ENT Clinic at all times.

Practical Details



Hours:

8.00am to 7.00pm rotating shifts, broken down into:-

08:00 - 16:30; 09:00 - 17:30; 10:30 - 19:00 with a 1 hour lunch break.

Optional: Remote working weekend cover with additional payment.

Job Type:

Full-time, Permanent

Pay:

From 35,000-37,000.00 per year with a further increase at the end of the 6-month probationary period, subject to satisfactory performance.

Experience:
