Job Description

We are currently on the lookout for a medical writer to join our talented team at Amiculum. In this role you'll combine scientific insight with creative thinking to produce engaging, high-quality content for leading pharma and biotech clients. From medical education and publications to dynamic meeting materials, this role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to shape meaningful healthcare communications that make a real difference.

The role




You will be engaged in developing a diverse array of deliverables, including internal and external medical affairs materials, content for meetings and congresses, and publications.


This role offers a unique combination of scientific depth and creative challenge, ideal for someone looking to make a meaningful contribution to the field of healthcare communications and deliver excellent content for our pharma and biotech clients.





Key responsibilities



Developing high-quality and scientifically rigorous content for a range of deliverables aligned with the client's strategic objectives Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of client products and the wider therapy area Ensuring quality and consistency across multiple deliverables Establishing and building positive long-term relationships with client teams and medical experts Building collaborative partnerships across internal teams Leading and managing your own projects, while building strong and trusted partnerships with colleagues, clients and other external stakeholders Using creative skills to propose ideas for stimulating and impactful content

What you'll need



A strong academic background in life sciences Previous experience leading and managing medical writing projects in a healthcare communications agency Excellent storytelling abilities - a creative thinker who enjoys transforming complex science into clear, accurate and engaging content Strong editorial skills and excellent attention to detail The ability to be engaging and confident in verbal communication Enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues and working as part of a team The ability to keep calm under pressure, work on multiple projects in parallel and meet agreed deadlines Confidence to make decisions and drive projects forward
