We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing expert advice on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication usage while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to established protocols. Provide comprehensive patient care by reviewing medication orders and assessing patient needs. Educate patients on medication administration, potential side effects, and drug interactions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in compliance with legal requirements. Conduct regular reviews of patient medications to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes. Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacology, therapeutics, and clinical practices.

Experience

A degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution is required. Proven experience in a clinical setting, particularly in Intensive Care Units (ICU), is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to medication administration. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions to patients and healthcare colleagues. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry standards.
