Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Counter Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will assist with medication administration and patient care, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation at the counter. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle various tasks will be essential in creating a welcoming environment for our clients.

Hours: 24 per week - Monday, Wednesday, Saturday

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently. Provide information about medications and health products. Assist in medication administration under the supervision of qualified personnel. Maintain cleanliness and organisation at the counter area. Handle customer transactions and manage cash register duties. Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure optimal patient care. Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.

Skills

Previous experience as a pharmacy is highly desirable. Knowledge of medication administration practices is an asset. Strong commitment to patient care and customer service excellence. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Proficient in using computer systems for inventory management and customer transactions.
