We are looking for a driven and knowledgeable Medicines Management Technician (MMT) to join our forward-thinking NHS primary care team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a registered technician ready to step outside their comfort zone and contribute meaningfully to safe, efficient, and evidence-based prescribing.The MMT will play a vital role in medicines reconciliation, high-risk medication monitoring, repeat prescription management, QOF support, and clinical governance across NHS services. You'll work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamincluding GPs, pharmacists, nurses, and ICB colleaguesto optimise patient care and prescribing practice. WHAT YOULL WORK ON Medicines Reconciliation and Optimisation Medicines Management Enhanced Service: Implement the Medicines Management Enhanced Service Specification and promote cost-effective prescribing practices. Prescription Management: Oversee repeat prescription and electronic repeat dispensing (eRD) requests to ensure timely and accurate processing. Service Design and Improvement: Contribute to the design and setup of new services aimed at improving medicines reconciliation and prescribing processes. Focus on improving medicines safety and optimising patient outcomes.
