Meeting & Events Sales Coordinator
to join our friendly and professional team, helping us grow and deliver outstanding experiences for our guests.
The Role
As our Meeting & Events Sales Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for all event enquiries -- providing a professional, efficient, and welcoming service to new and existing clients.
You'll manage the process from initial enquiry through to handover to the operations team, ensuring every detail is captured and expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming meeting and event enquiries by phone and email, converting leads into confirmed bookings
Prepare accurate proposals, contracts, and event function sheets
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and leisure clients
Maximise revenue through effective up-selling and attention to detail
Liaise with the operations, kitchen, and reception teams to ensure seamless event delivery
Maintain accurate records and follow up promptly on enquiries
Support the Sales Team with reporting and promotional activities
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
Confident communicating with clients and colleagues at all levels
Passionate about hospitality, sales, and delivering exceptional service
Able to manage multiple bookings and deadlines with ease
Competent in Microsoft Office and ideally experienced with hotel or venue booking systems
Experience:
Previous experience in a hotel, conference, or event sales role is required, though full training will be provided for the right candidate.
