As a M&E Sales Executive at

The Welbeck Hotel

, you will play a vital role in driving revenue and positioning our boutique property as Marylebone's preferred destination for meetings and events. You will manage enquiries for our six meeting rooms and event spaces, convert leads into bookings, and deliver exceptional client service. Your responsibilities include handling incoming leads, conducting show rounds, maintaining accurate systems data, and supporting proactive sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities



Respond promptly and professionally to all meeting and event enquiries. Sell and upsell meeting rooms and event spaces, creating tailored proposals for clients. Accurately record enquiries, bookings, and client details in

Delphi

,

Opera

, and maintain updates in

Salesforce

. Conduct client show rounds, confidently presenting The Welbeck's facilities and features. Support the Director of Sales & Marketing and Sales Manager in generating new business across corporate, leisure, and group segments. Prepare essential reports, forecasts, and activity trackers as required. Build and nurture client and agent relationships through effective communication and follow-up. Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform sales strategies. Collaborate with marketing and social media teams on promotions, offers, and and campaigns. Contribute creative ideas to attract new business opportunities. To attend any other training or communication meetings as required for the better performance of the role both locally and nationally To represent The Welbeck at industry events as a professional brand ambassador.

Qualifications & Requirements



Previous experience in hotel sales, events, reservations, or front office preferred. Strong communication skills, client confidence, and excellent organisational ability. Familiarity with

Salesforce

is advantageous (training provided). Positive attitude, passion for hospitality, and eagerness to learn and grow in a proactive sales role.
